FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Layer counts, design tools, lead times, assembly, testing, and how we protect your files.

What layer counts and board types do you handle?

We design and assemble 1 to 12 layer boards including rigid, flex, and rigid-flex constructions. Impedance-controlled traces, HDI with microvias, and sequential lamination are all in scope.

Which PCB design tools do you support?

Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, and OrCAD are supported natively. We accept Gerber RS-274X, IPC-2581, and ODB++ for fabrication, and we deliver in whatever format your team prefers.

What is your prototype lead time?

Five to twelve days typical, depending on layer count and component sourcing. Quick-turn options exist for simpler boards. Every prototype quote includes a DFM review at no extra charge.

Can you assemble fine-pitch and BGA packages?

Yes. SMT down to 0201 passives, and BGA, QFN, and LGA packages down to 0.4mm pitch. Every BGA is X-ray inspected, and AOI runs on every panel before reflow sign-off.

What testing and QA happens on each board?

AOI on every panel, X-ray on every BGA and QFN, and ICT or functional test depending on the program. Documentation follows our ISO 9001:2015 quality system.

Do you handle component sourcing and BOM management?

Yes. We source through authorized distributors, manage allocation risk, and offer alternates when a part goes EOL or hits long lead times. BOM revisions and lifecycle tracking are part of the engagement.

How do you protect our schematic and BOM IP?

Every project starts under NDA. Source files are stored in access-controlled environments, and only the engineers assigned to your project can reach your design files, BOM, and Gerbers.
