Functional test fixtures, bed-of-nails ICT, pogo-pin probes, and assembly jigs built to your board and your line. We design and build the tooling that verifies every unit the same way, so defects are caught before they ship, not after.
Custom jigs and probes that turn a manual check into a repeatable, pass/fail test on your line.
Powered fixtures that exercise the assembled board and verify real behavior, I/O, comms, sensors, and power rails.
Pogo-pin nail beds contact every test point for in-circuit test, shorts, opens, values, and net continuity in seconds.
Locating and hold-down jigs that fixture parts consistently for pressing, potting, soldering, and mechanical assembly.
Final go/no-go stations with guided operator prompts, barcode traceability, and logged pass/fail results per serial.
Four gates: define the tests, design the fixture, build and wire it, then correlate on real units. Each stage closes with a review you sign off.
We map the test points, define the FCT/ICT coverage, and agree on cycle time, throughput, and pass/fail criteria before design begins.
CAD design of the tooling plate, probe map, actuation (manual, pneumatic, or clamshell), and wiring harness, reviewed against your DUT.
We machine and 3D-print the fixture, drill the pogo-pin field, install probes and interlocks, and integrate the test controller or instruments.
We run known-good and known-bad units to correlate results, tune limits, document the SOP, and hand the fixture to your line with training.
Each fixture type is built for a job. Here is what a typical build includes.
| Fixture type | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Functional test (FCT) | Powered test interface, edge/pogo contacts, test controller integration, I/O and comms exercisers, logged results |
| Bed-of-nails / ICT | Machined probe plate, pogo-pin field to every test point, vacuum or mechanical actuation, ICT tester wiring |
| Pogo-pin probe fixture | Spring-probe cradle, DUT locating features, programming/flash header, hold-down clamp, quick-swap top plate |
| Assembly jig | Locating pins and hard stops, hold-downs, dowel-referenced tooling plate, poka-yoke keying to prevent misload |
| End-of-line station | Guided operator UI, barcode/serial scan, interlocks, pass/fail lamps, traceability export per unit |
Coverage, scope, and what to expect on a Jaycon fixture build.
ICT (in-circuit test) uses a bed-of-nails to probe individual nets and check shorts, opens, and component values on a bare or assembled board. Functional test (FCT) powers the finished unit and verifies it actually behaves, running I/O, comms, and firmware. Many programs use both: ICT first to catch build defects, FCT to confirm the product works.
CAD gets us moving fastest. We work from your board files (Gerbers, ODB++, or STEP), a test-point map, and a test plan. Sending a physical unit or two helps us correlate and validate the fixture before handoff, but design can begin from files alone.
Yes. We wire fixtures to your existing test controller, PXI/instrument rack, or programming tools, and we can build a guided operator UI with barcode traceability and pass/fail logging. If you do not have a test system yet, we can spec and integrate one.
Yes. Beyond electrical test fixtures we build assembly and alignment jigs, locating, hold-down, and poka-yoke tooling for pressing, potting, soldering, and mechanical assembly, so the same partner covers your full line.
