Built-in DFM

Every quote includes a free DFM review.

Upload your CAD and our engineers walk the part before tooling is cut. Draft, wall thickness, gate location, and parting lines flagged in plain English, with side-by-side fixes.

DFM viewer showing a molded part with callouts for wall thickness, draft angle and radius
1

Draft angle

Recommended draft per face so parts release cleanly from the mold.

2

Wall thickness

Highlights of thin walls and thick sections that risk sink, warp, or short shots.

3

Gate & runner placement

Suggested gate location to balance flow, minimize knit lines, and avoid cosmetic faces.

FAQ

Common questions about injection molding

Tooling lead times, materials, run sizes, and what to expect when you start a project.

What is your tooling lead time?

Most production-grade steel molds run 25 to 40 days from approved CAD to T1 samples. Aluminum bridge tools land in 12 to 18 days when you need to validate before steel. Mold flow and DFM are done before any steel is cut.

What materials do you mold?

ABS, PC, Nylon (PA6/PA66), PMMA, PP, PE, POM, PEEK, TPU, TPE, and silicone overmolds. Glass-filled, flame-retardant, UV-stable, and food-grade variants are stocked or sourced. Custom color matching to Pantone or RAL is included.

What run sizes are economical?

From 100 units on aluminum bridge tools, to 100K+ units on production steel. Most programs cross over to steel at around 5K to 10K annual units. We sit with you on a tool versus cost analysis before quoting.

Do you handle painting, printing, and assembly?

Yes. Pad printing, silk-screen, laser etching, hot stamping, ultrasonic welding, and final assembly are all in-house. Parts can ship as raw molded, decorated, sub-assembled, or fully boxed retail-ready.

What surface finishes do you support?

Full SPI range A1 through D3, plus VDI textures on request. Mirror polish A1 for optical-grade clarity, matte D-series for grip and hidden tool marks. Texture spec is locked during the tool-design review.

Where are your facilities and how do you handle quality?

Tooling and molding lines run in our US, China, Vietnam, and India sites. Every program is ISO 9001:2015 certified, with FAI, in-process inspection, and material-cert traceability standard on every shipment.
