Jaycon has been designing and building products from Central Florida for 15 years, and this month we joined the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida (MACF).
Here is what MACF is, why we joined, and what the membership means if you build products in the region.
What MACF is
MACF is a nonprofit trade organization founded in 1992 to strengthen manufacturing in Central Florida. Its stated mission is “to enhance the performance of manufacturers in Central Florida through education, collaboration, awareness, and advocacy.”
In practice that covers five areas: legislative advocacy, workforce development, business development, industry collaboration and scholarships.
Why we joined
Derek Blankenship, our Chief Operating Officer, explained the decision:
Central Florida has been home to Jaycon for 15 years, and MACF has done a great deal to build the region’s manufacturing community. We’re glad to join the network. We want to work with other members, support local workforce development, and make our ISO 9001-certified molding, electronics assembly and engineering services available to manufacturers across the region.
Chief Operating Officer, Jaycon
What we bring to the network
We are certified to ISO 9001:2015, and our work falls into three main areas:
| Area | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Injection molding | Mold tooling, production molding and post-processing |
| Circuit board assembly | PCB design and assembly |
| Design and development | Industrial, mechanical, electrical and firmware engineering, plus rapid prototyping through CNC machining, 3D printing and resin casting |
Our customers work in consumer products, electronics, medical devices, and aerospace and aviation. Alongside the Palm Bay headquarters, we run manufacturing operations in Shenzhen, China, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and have an office in New Delhi, India.
What MACF said
We’re thrilled to welcome Jaycon to the MACF community. Their innovative approach to product development and manufacturing, combined with a strong engineering focus, makes them a great addition to our growing network of manufacturers. We look forward to connecting their team with our members and supporting their continued growth and success.

What comes next
Through MACF we plan to take part in industry collaboration and workforce programs, and to meet more of the regional manufacturers looking for a domestic engineering and production partner. We are also hiring, and open roles are on our careers page.
If you are a Central Florida manufacturer with a part to mold, a board to assemble or a product to engineer, request a quote online and track the order from the same account.
